Social media operators do not clearly disclose how they use data from visits to our social media site, including attribution to users, data retention, or sharing with third parties.
When visiting our social media pages, your device's IP address is shared with the platform, which may link it to your identity. Logged-in users have cookies storing unique identifiers, enabling platforms to track activity and personalize content or ads.
To prevent tracking, log out, disable “stay logged in,” delete cookies, and restart your browser. Interactive actions (like, comment, share) will require login, making you identifiable again.

If you contact us on social media or comment on our content, we process your user name and the content of your messages or comments. If you mark our website with "Like", "Follow" or similar interactions, this will also be communicated to us. As the provider of the information service, we do not collect and process any other data from your use of our social media presence.
Our data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR, as our legitimate interest lies in making our company better known and communicating with you.
We process the data you provide in this context and which may be accessible to us (e.g. user name, images, interests, contact details) exclusively for the purpose of communicating with users and interested parties. Our legitimate interest lies in providing you with a platform on which you can receive up-to-date information and communicate your concerns to us so that we can respond to them as quickly as possible.
Where possible, we will delete your data when our social media presence is discontinued.

In this case, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data. Based on this we will terminate or adapt the data processing or show you our legitimate reasons why we continue the data processing.
Right to lodge a complaint with supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR)
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you shall have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of alleged infringement, if you believe that the processing of the personal data concerning you is against the infringes of the GDPR.
The supervisory authority to which the complaint has been submitted shall inform you of the status and results of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy according to Article 78 GDPR.
